What is the pediatric surgeon’s role in treating the child?

In 1990 he was one of those who founded the Pediatric Surgery Department in Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine. Since then he has been a member of the department. He was a visiting Prof. at the University of Miami Liver Transplantation Clinic in 1997.

He took his Pediatric Surgical Training in Hacettepe University, Department of Pediatric Surgery, Ankara, Turkey. He worked as a visiting surgeon in Sophia Children’s Hospital , Rotterdam, Holland in 1998.
